INTRODUCTION
Even though breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day, dinner was mine growing up.  We call it "sic fan" in Cantonese - which literally translates to "eat rice."  With some context, when we say "sic fan" its an indication for "time to eat" or "meal time."  In my youth, this was actually expressed at dinner time when everyone comes home from work, school, or other activities.  This has greatly accustomed me to value togetherness and the gathering around the table for a meal with friends and family.  I feel that as we age, these valuable "sic fan" moments become more scarce.  And as life grows busier and more demanding, cooking meals every day that are not only delicious, inspiring, and fresh becomes a great challenge.

Great recipes, ok book, great customer service!

This is my favorite cookbook right now. I have already used it for a bunch of recipes and love to sometimes just look at the images. The print and colours are very nice as well as the simple structure. It is however quite hard to open without overstretching it, so I couldn’t just open it and place it somewhere in the kitchen just like that as reference, instead I find myself opening it every time I want to know the next step and needing some kind of bookmark as well. But apparently I still treated the book to rough because after a few months some of the last pages fell out.
If you actually want to cook yeung man‘s recipes I recommend just following the videos or using this books pdf version (which is not included in the physical book for free sadly). This one feels more like something to buy as a gimmick to hold sacred than actually using it.

UPDATE:
After leaving this review Yeung Man reached out to me personally and asked for details on the purchase, after I provided them, he, without me asking for anything, messaged me the PDF version of the cookbook and now there’s another physical copy on the way. That’s much more than I expected when I left this review and I feel really grateful receiving such nice customer service.
